Question: What is a Panic Room?

Answer: A Panic Room is a safe area purposely built inside your property to keep you safe from domestic violence, robbery, kidnapping etc., where you can lock yourself in while you wait for help from the police. Panic Rooms are highly bespoke installation and constructed using reinforced steel sheeting, eight-inch concrete walls and only one opening with a steel door and special locking systems. Panic Rooms are also equipped with a video monitor, separate telephone line or mobile phone, fresh air supply / heating, first aid kit, fire extinguishers and alarm keypad all powered by a small generator in the event of disconnection of power supply and many more. It can provide invaluable peace of mind if you leave in fear of the worst-case scenario.

Question: Who needs a Panic Room?

Answer: Panic rooms are used by clients from movie stars to footballers and politicians or a vital defence against domestic violence.

If you are an elderly person, victim of domestic violence, or you own a business, then you may consider having a panic room installed, your local council may help you with funding if you are a victim of domestic violence.

Question: What is the difference between Panic Rooms and Safe Rooms?

Answer: Panic Rooms are equipped with all the latest technology such as digital CCTV, separate telephone line, first aid kit, medicine etc. Safe Rooms have no such technology and can only be used for safe keeping of important documents and valuable items.

Question: Can any one access my Panic Room or Safe Room?

Answer: No, Panic Rooms and Safe Rooms are constructed in a way that no one can access them with a unique digital locking system and only open manually from inside.

Question: Can I pick and choose what I want in my Panic Room or Safe Room?

Answer: Yes you can, however advice will be given to make sure that you receive the maximum security that you require.

Question: Can I convert part of my garage, bedroom or bathroom into a Safe Room or Panic Room?

Answer: Yes you can - we offer advice accordingly.

Question: Do you design and install the Panic Rooms and Safe Rooms or do you install only?

Answer: We plan, design and construct or install panic rooms and carry out after service inspection and maintenance for 6 months (subject to contract).

Question: Do you tell anyone that I have a Panic or Safe Room in my property?

Answer: No. Neither do we show new clients examples. The construction of all Panic Rooms and Safe rooms will be treated in the strictest confidence.
